Last December
I moved to Owego last December 2008 and I have been amazed by the Village and the area. It has a very strong Art Community with many galleries and specialty shops. The residents are very welcoming and the lovely homes throughout the historical district are beautiful and well maintained. You can close your eyes and see the hoop skirts and the horses. Or come
for a special event and you will see a variety of entertainment venues. The Strawberry Festival, the Hickory Smoked Blues concert and the warm people are why I am proud to both call it home. I love it here. The Bed and Breakfasts are in lovely homes and the restaurants are first rate. You can even eat in a jail cell! Try it you will come back again and again.
