Incredible Museum
Owego has an incredible museum that is dedicated to providing hands-on programming for people of all ages. Quilt lectures are given during the annual quilt show, they have civil war reenactments, poetry and literary readings and an incredible collection of both national and regional artifacts that help visitors "time-travel". Situated along the bank of a beautiful river,
people can picnic on the back grounds and enjoy a lovely garden and bird watching. This is a place that slows down the pace of normal life, causes one to relax and contemplate the historical growth of our country and the lives of the individuals that worked so hard in the labour for progress. A favorite place for visitors and locals alike.
